What is an orthoptist? An orthoptist is a health professional specializing in binocular vision disorders. Visual screening for babies and children, assessment and rehabilitation at all ages and renewal of correction.
Description
Your orthoptist is qualified to carry out visual screening, bialns and rehabilitation of binocular vision, to take care of learning disorders, strabismus, amblyopia, oculomotor paralysis (emergency and screening). The practice is equipped to carry out vision tests (visual acuity) and to renew your optical correction (glasses and lenses).
An orthoptist works on medical prescription. All procedures are 100% reimbursed by social security and mutual insurance companies. Consultations are by appointment only.
