Freeride World Tour Qualifier

Valfréjus also hosts a round of the Freeride World Tour Qualifier, with the best French and European freeriders tracing lines and sending off big jumps on the resort.

Freeride and speed riding

On the slopes, you'll often come across skiers with wide skis and ABS bags on their backs: a sign that Valfréjus is a freeride resort. The mountains are a place of freedom and adventure. But before leaving the open, secure slopes to go into freeride mode, always make sure you have complied with the safety rules: check conditions with professionals, weather report, shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver. Be accompanied and tell at least one person about your itinerary.
