Getting around Haute Maurienne

How do you get around Haute Maurienne Vanoise to visit the villages and surrounding area Valfréjus ? Winter and summer alike, take advantage of the bus and public transport network for a low-carbon holiday. From Saint-Michel station, a bus will take you directly to Valfréjus. A train + bus ecomobility solution for skiing or hiking, without using the car. In winter, you can also take advantage of a free shuttle bus to go skiing at La Norma. Buses also run from Modane to all the other resorts in the area.

From Valfréjus, line 1 takes you directly to major tourist sites: Redoute Marie-Thérèse(Forts de l'Esseillon, accrobranche, giant zip lines, via ferrata...), Parc national de la Vanoise (unspoilt Polset and Orgère valleys, right opposite the resort!).

Line 1 also takes you directly to Modane station (with connections to other buses serving the whole area).

Unlimited access to Haute Maurienne Vanoise buses (S52 + S53 + line 1) is included with the Pass Valfréjus (except Saturday for S52 and S53). Also included with your Pass: activities, lifts + discounts on a hundred other activities.

Shuttle Valfréjus-La Norma

To reach the resorts of Valfréjus and La Norma
Winter transport, internal shuttle
The Valfréjus ski pass gives access to the neighboring La Norma ski area. The two ski areas are linked by shuttle bus from Tuesday to Friday (departure in front of the Tourist Office at Valfréjus). Access to this bus is included with your ski pass.

Please note: the Valfréjus-La Norma shuttle is exclusively for skiers with proof of purchase of a valid ski pass.

Good winter plan!

Bus included with 6-day + ski passes

Unlimited access to the S52 and S53 buses, which serve the entire region from Modane, is included from Sunday to Friday with your Valfréjus 6 days + ski pass!

Please note: for safety reasons (speed of evacuation), you cannot keep your ski or snowboard boots on your feet on buses S50, S51, S52 and S53. You can put them in the hold with your ski/snowboard and poles. Cross-country ski boots allowed.

Rates

In winter, the direct line Valfréjus-La Norma is free for anyone with a valid Valfréjus ski pass. Inter-station lines (S50, S51, S52, S53) are chargeable. For further information, please consult the Mobility Guide or call theTourist Office on 04 79 05 99 06
