Sky and Ski
Tuesday, March 19For the occasion, Valfréjus, the birthplace of speedriding, is literally transformed into an aerial sports resort, with eye-popping shows at altitude. Because adrenalin is the name of the game on this day, you'll be able to get up to speed with Hugo Viale, member of the French speed ski team, and Michel Viale, member of the French national speed ski commission, during an initiation session!
- Speedriding: Dive into the world of freestyle skiing with a breathtaking daytime show on the Arrondaz plateau. Meet some twenty speedriders for an avalanche of colors in the sky of Valfréjus.
Come and discover this discipline with a two-seater speedriding initiation. Places are limited to 20 at €50*. This price is exclusively for Boarderline.
Criteria: skier with helmet, weight between 30 and 80kg, possible from 5 years old.
Reservations can be made at Valfréjus and payment made on the day.

- Xspeed ski tour: Come and dream of sensation and speed in complete safety with an introduction to speed skiing supervised by a member of the French team and a member of the discipline's national commission. Meet from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. with your own ski equipment. Please note that helmets are compulsory for those who want to experience the thrill of speed skiing!
Freeride World Tour Qualifier 3*** (France)
Wednesday, March 20Europe's top freeriders gather at Valfréjus for a 3-star round of the Feeride World Tour Qualifier. Around a hundred riders will take to the mythical couloirs of Punta Bagna to perform the most impressive tricks and try to win the maximum number of points. 400m further down, at the finish on the Arrondaz plateau, you can watch the competition in peace and take in the sights.
And don't forget to look up, because in the skies above Valfré, speedriders will be flying over the faces of Punta Bagna. And the Soul Flyers will once again be on hand for a breathtaking aerial show.
And so that you too can enjoy the slopes with the best skis, Nordica will be present on the Arrondaz plateau for a free ski-test. Just show your ID, choose your skis and off you go!
Because it doesn't stop there, the Rock'N Beer team will be joining you on the Arrondaz plateau for a whole host of surprises. The atmosphere continues into the evening at their bar in the resort.
In the evening, you can also enjoy a free screening session organized by the Xplore film tour at the Maison du Thabor.
Three documentaries about "Board culture" will be shown, and there will be something for everyone:

- Duel Slalom: Challenge yourselves 2 by 2, all day long, with family or friends, on a slope carefully concocted by the Club des Sports of Valfréjus, especially for you!
- Boarder Cross by Dare2b: Test your agility on the timed Boarder Cross course on skis or snowboard. The three best in each category (men, women, children) will win prizes.
- Discover the professions of ski patrol and first aid: Searching for avalanche transceivers, master dog handlers, nivology on the Arrondaz plateau, take a seat with our professionals to observe some of their remarkable missions!
- Snow Rodeo: You've heard of the mechanical bull, but have you ever tried the Snow Rodeo? ESI invites you to try it out on the Arrondaz plateau.
Ski Test: Ski or snow? Nordica or Elan? The Val'Gravity Val'Gravityin partnership with Skiset Valfréjus Sport, Terra Modana Sport and Punta Sport Skimium, is organizing a free ski test from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, on presentation of your identity card.

The resort of Valfréjus, in the heart of the Alps in Haute Maurienne Vanoise, is 10 minutes from Modane TGV station (TGV direct from Paris, Lyon, Chambéry...) and 15 minutes from the freeway exit (2h from Lyon by car).
