Route S52/S53: Modane - Aussois - Val Cenis - Bessans - Bonneval/Arc

Modane

A line connecting Modane to the villages of Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans, and Bonneval/Arc. Some schedules connect with other summer lines.
The line is equipped to transport bicycles at no extra charge.

Description

Buses are equipped with a 6-bike rack.
Reservations are possible but not required.
Bicycles must be placed on the racks by their owners.

Additional welcome

Children under 5 must be accompanied. For safety reasons, they may not remain in baby carriages.
Groups of up to 10 people are only accepted if booked the day before by 12 p.m. online.

Rates

Free admission for children under 2.

Saturday - regional tickets only:
One-way adult ticket: €12.50
Reduced fare for seasonal workers and those under 26: €8.90
Round-trip ticket: €21.
10% discount if purchased online 48 hours in advance.

Weekdays from Sunday to Friday, several options:
* HMV ticketing: (available at HMV tourist offices and Maison Cantonale)
-> Booklet of 10 tickets: €15
-> Week pass: €15 (non-transferable)
-> Season pass: €30 (non-transferable)
* HMV 2025–2026 annual pass with 25–26 season badge
* Resort activity pass 2026
* Regional ticket.

Guide dogs for the blind are allowed, without restriction. Dogs in baskets travel for free. For dogs that are not in baskets or weigh over 10kg, oxners must buy a travel ticket.
Dogs weighing over 10kg must wear a muzzle and be on a lead.
