Orgère

This climb leads to one of the "gateways" to the Vanoise National Park. At the summit, the forest gives way to the open slopes of the valley below the Aiguille Doran. Refreshments available from the Orgère mountain hut.

Description

From Modane, go through St. André and follow the signs 'Parc national de la Vanoise'. The rise passes through a remakable forest before reaching the high mountain pastures and the refuge of Orgère.
