Discover a site steeped in history. This place, the scene of terrible battles and intense bombardments between the French and Italians, left its mark on World War II. The Fort du Lavoir, the Pas du Roc, and the remains of the barracks bear witness to a past that is still very much alive. With the return of peace, the area has transformed into a tranquil plateau of alpine pastures and vast rocky expanses. Your hike will reach an elevation of 2,700 meters at its highest point—enough to take your breath away, both literally and figuratively. The panorama here is magnificent, and the view is mesmerizing. If nature calls, let yourself be led to Lake Punta Bagna and enjoy a contemplative loop around its waters.

There are several ways back:
-The wisest, for the less experienced, by descending via the Arrondaz gondola. You'll need a lift pass to return by gondola. Remember to buy your pass before you leave.
- The more adventurous, for experienced mountain bikers, via the difficult (red) enduro mountain bike route called "La déjantée".
