Description

At the crossroads of Savoy, Hautes-Alpes and Italy, Mont-Thabor and its 3178m represents an exceptional belvedere over the entire Alpine massif.
This wild route between lakes and scree leads to a summit where the mineral landscape becomes lunar and the panorama exceptional: Grandes Jorasses, Matterhorn, Grande Casse ... One night at the Thabor refuge allows you to make the route in two stages.

  • Between the Southern Alps and the Northern Alps, the Thabor massif is a paradise for hiking and roaming. A multitude of lakes, a varied geology, grandiose landscapes ... At the refuge, Charline et Ludovic, a couple of friendly caretakers, welcome and advise families and hikers on their way to the ascent of Mount Thabor (3178 m). They will delight you with homemade dishes made with organic, local and artisanal products.
