CIAS HAUTE MAURIENNE VANOISE - CIAS HAUTE MAURIENNE VANOISE

The Centre Intercommunal d'Action Sociale Haute Maurienne Vanoise was created by deliberation of the Communauté de communes Haute Maurienne Vanoise. It has been in existence since September 1, 2019.

Description

It manages the CCHMV's Social Action remit, which is defined as being of community interest, and the related services:

Territorial contracts and forward-looking studies: Studies, needs analyses and forward-looking studies whose scope, purpose or target populations (permanent or seasonal) concern several communes in the area;

Coordination of the preparation of territorial contracts for Early Childhood, Childhood and Youth proposed by institutional partners, and management of their implementation. It implements the actions for which it is responsible.

Children's policy: The organization, supervision and management of school meals and after-school and extra-curricular day-care centers for local children aged 3 to 11.

Youth policy:
- Organization, supervision and management of after-school and extra-curricular activities for local young people aged 11 to 17;

- Information, prevention, integration and support initiatives for young people aged 11 to 25;

- Setting up a youth information structure.

Support for families and parenthood:
- Support for listening, support and prevention services and networks, where these cover the whole territory;

- Parenting-related activities and events, where these concern the entire region;

- Schooling support initiatives and events, when they concern the entire region.

Policy in favor of the elderly and the integration of all local populations.

Home-delivered meals for the elderly, disabled or convalescing;

Transportation on demand for captive populations (young people in difficulty, people needing temporary assistance to get around, etc.) and people with reduced mobility (elderly, disabled).

A fully-fledged public administrative body with its own budget and staff, the CIAS HMV is chaired by the President of the CCHMV, Christian SIMON, and steered by a Board of Directors made up of 50% elected representatives from the CCHMV Community Council and 50% members appointed by the President of the CCHMV, representing associations and players in the field of social action, prevention, integration and solidarity in the region.
The CIAS Haute Maurienne Vanoise operates in the 10 communes of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise Community of Communes, complementing the actions of the CCASs in each commune, which continue to exist.
