HMV Cyclo Challenge by Dare2B - Montée cycliste de Valfréjus
Come and challenge yourself on the Modane Valfréjus climb, on a road closed to motorized vehicles except VAEs. 14 twists and turns through forest to reach the resort.
Description
The Haute Maurienne Vanoise Cyclo Challenge by Dare2B consists of 6 climbs, each more unique than the last.
The Valfréjus touring climb is 5.8 km long, with 387m of D+. It starts at the junction of the Fréjus tunnel and Valfréjus roads, and finishes in front of the Valfréjus tourist office.
This is the only climb of the HMV Cyclo Challenge by Dare2B, which takes place at the end of the day.
How does the HMV Cyclo Challenge work?
Add up the altitude difference of each climb and pass the different levels *.
Each participant registers free of charge at the start of the climb and receives an HMV Cyclo Challenge by Dare2B support, which can then be used to accumulate the altitude difference for each of the 6 climbs in the area: L'iseran, Mont Cenis, Aussois, La Norma, Valfréjus and Bellecombe.
Some climbs can be done several times if you feel up to it!
3 suggested objectives:
Bronze level: 1,000 m cumulative vertical drop
Silver level: Reach 2,000 m of cumulative vertical drop
Gold level : 3,000 m cumulative vertical drop
At each level, win goodies from our partners.

* Participation in the HMV Cyclo Challenge by Dare2B is not compulsory. You can take part in the cycle touring climb on closed roads without registering.
The D216 road will be closed to motorized vehicles for the occasion.
